2011-2012 Fairest of the Fair Winner

Congratulations Ashley Nimtz our 2011 – 2012 NWSF Fairest of the Fair

Ashley Nimtz, daughter of David and Cindy Nimtz of Bloomer, was raised on a Dairy farm along with her 2 older sisters, Angie and Amber, and her older brother Travis. Ashley was homeschooled and became very active in 4-H showing cattle at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair for 8 years. One of her favorite memories at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair was in her senior and last year showing cattle at the fair when her heifer won Jr. Champion, which was a bit of a shock. Being chosen as the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest of the Fair has now become by far her best experience of the Fair.

Ashley is currently enrolled at the Chippewa Valley Technical College in her 2nd year as a Pre-program Nursing student. After graduating and becoming a Registered Nurse she plans to stay in the Chippewa Valley working at one of the local hospitals. During her reign as Fairest of the Fair, Ashley would like to help improve the handicap accessibility of the fairgrounds while encouraging more people to come and experience all the different attractions the Northern Wisconsin State Fair has to offer.
