Bathroom Locations:

- Porta Potties located next to Poultry Barn and throughout Fairgrounds.
Pets and Animals
- No pets are allowed on the Fairgrounds during the Fair unless they are entered in a competitive exhibit.
- Use caution with small children as they are attracted to animals and may unknowingly wander into animal areas.
- Wash your hands when you leave animal areas and before you consume your favorite Fair food.
Beer Gardens/Tents
The Northern Wisconsin State Fair believes all alcoholic products should be enjoyed responsibly. Beverages to include beer, soda and water will be allowed in the Main Stage/Grandstand area. For those guests 21 years of age and older, a alcohol Wristband will be required to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Alcohol wristband ID stations will be located outside both beer gardens and at the Grandstand Refreshment Stand located on the right-hand side entrance to the Grandstand. Proof of age required to receive a Wristband. Guests without a Wristband are not allowed to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Main Stage/Grandstand will be open from 6:30 to10:00pm Wednesday, July 7, through Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11 from 11:00am to 7:00 pm.
Beer Gardens will be open from 11:00am to Midnight Wednesday through Saturday and from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed outside the Beer Garden and Main Stage/Grandstand areas.
Fairgrounds Traffic and Parking
- Main Gate will be for Entry Only (One Way Traffic through Fairgrounds)
- After 8:30 pm vehicles may exit all entrances to the Fairgrounds.
- Vehicles (Cars, Pickups, Vans, Motorcycles)
- All Vehicles must enter through the Main Gate, located across from the YMCA, and vehicles must exit through the East (Rural) Gate.
- After 8:30pm, Main Gate will open one exit lane for vehicles leaving the Fairgrounds.
- Service Vehicles (pickups with livestock trailers, large vehicles, and delivery/emergency vehicles) must enter through the East (Rural) Gate and exit through the East (Rural) Gate.
- Pedestrians (Walk In)
- Pedestrians may enter and exit all entrances. Main Gate, East (Rural) Gate, and the Pedestrian walk up entrance from Irvine Park
- Parking
- Handicap Parking
- Handicap Parking Areas are located adjacent to Fine Arts Building and along Xcel Energy Lane
- Note: In the event Handicap Parking areas are full we will reserve a Handicap Drop-Off Area located through the Main Gate.
- Paid Parking
- Vehicles may park inside the Fairgrounds fenced area for a fee of $5.00
- Senior Citizens park free on Wednesday
- Weekly Parking Pass $15.00 / vehicle may park inside fenced area all week.
- Note: Parking is not guaranteed due to limited space
- Reserve Parking Areas will be designated to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the Fair.
- Truck and Livestock Trailer Parking will be available outside the East (Rural) Gate.
- Reserve Parking - Yellow Area: Fair Officials, Board Members, Superintendents, Emergency Personnel,
- Reserve Parking - Green Area: Week-long Vendor Parking
- Reserve Parking - Red Area: Performers, Stage parking, Sponsor VIP

- State Street – Park on grassy area behind Truck and Livestock Trailer Parking Area
- YMCA – Park on grassy hill area

- Shuttle Service
- For those guests parking at the Chippewa Ice Arena and Mason Shoe parking lots, the NWSF will offer Free Shuttle service to the East (Rural) Gate. Shuttle will run Friday and Saturday 2:00pm to midnight.
